You probably have seen my Surftrain Story by now. The first one out of four in which I’ve been going on and on about the bomber jacket. A garment I’ve simply come to adore. Tough, cool and extremely versatile. What more could a women want?!
And during the Modefabriek I stumbled upon the perfect bomber myself. A second hand, all black number from Dries van Noten. Condition? Perfect! Of course there was no doubt it was coming home with me…
Quite something as I’m not the kind of girl that has the patience to go trough all kinds of thrift shops, vintage boutiques and second hand stores to find those hidden gems out there. I’d love to say I am but I’m just not, sad but true. Same goes for sale by the way!
Though finding this gem wasn’t that hard and didn’t require a quest at all. This since I found it at one of those rarely organized second hand suppliers, to be exact, the pop-up store from Heleen Hülsmann. Nothing but wonderful designer items in the best conditions, that get all the space they deserve and don’t even date back from that long ago. There was for instance a pair of Isabel Marant Stanley’s, this season’s and currently on sale in al the major boutiques! Therefore, Heleen Hülsmann, a name to remember.
